THE INSTITUTION

The Insitution Uttaraa Center for Performing Arts was started in the year 1999, with a view to promoting and preserving the traditional performing arts of India.

ACHIEVEMENTS

In the span of one decade, Uttaraa has produced highly talented performing artists, whose achievements speak volumes about the Institution. These include HRD & CCRT Scholarships, First Prizes in Competitions, Awards from various organizations, Solo Performances, Distinctions in ABGMV & Telugu University Exams, Zonal & National Level representations in University Competitions & Flute Programs on All India Radio. 

PRODUCTIONS & PERFORMANCES 

The Uttaraa troupe has performed for various prestigious organizations and venues across the country.  In 2006, the troupe has toured SRI LANKA and has performed for renowned institutions such as the ICC Colombo, RKM Hall & Rupavahini National TV.

UTTARAA's MUSIC WING

In Andhra Pradesh, UCPA has pioneered the unique concept of Group Flute Concerts which showcases the regular Carnatic Music KUTCHERI in the form of a Musical Ensemble, thus providing performance opportunity for several students. These Concerts have become highly popular because of the format of presentation, which suits both amateurs and professionals. The Institution has the rare distinction of having trained Solo Flute Artists in the field of Carnatic Music.
